You can meet her history of bauxite and its mining for the Phocis region. After the mines closed in 1972, due to depletion of the mineral, visitors can, if they board the periphmo vagonetto (the train used by the miners to transport bauxite), to take a walk in the past, going down to a depth of 200 m., discovering the secrets of the galleries and learning all about this difficult work of miners.
